Trimble acquired SketchUp from Google in 2012 and now it became a robust software in 3D design visualization field.
It is world fastest 3D modelling software and generate 3D forms which going in the creative mind without disturbing creative thoughts.
This course is very useful for Architects, Interior, Landscape, Kitchen, Game, Product Designers and Engineers. Topics Covered
Each day our trainer will teach you a topic and you will get assignments for hands-on
practices. At the end you will be assigned a project to get holistic view of the SketchUp.
Week 1
SketchUp basics, drawing methods, Defining Units, generating accurate models, Camera,
working with Layers, Group and Components, Defining and adjusting Materials, creating
complex shapes using Follow Me tool and Solid Tools.
Week 2
Working with Shadows, defining accurate shadows with specific geo location, Sun path study,
extracting terrain from Google Earth, creating terrain with Sandbox tool, organizing model
with scene and outliner, creating walkthrough animation, Creating design options with
Dynamic Components
Week 3
Generating reports, inserting models and material with 3D Warehouse, Managing Credits,
haring your model into 3D Warehouse, using extension warehouse, Working with efficiency
improvement plugins
Week 4
Creating complex shapes with plugins, Generating design options with plugins, Generating
customized styles and Template with Style builder, Importing and working dwg and other
files, Exporting files, Creating 2D drawing and portfolio using Layout.
Week 5
Creating and Editing Normal and IES Lights, Material and Environment for photo realistic
rendering with V-Ray. Combining together and working on a Project and presenting your
project using Layout.
